The sport of MotoGP is something that has been around for quite a while now. While we are not complaining, this surely piqued our curiosity as to why it is so enduring. This is something that we will be touching on with today’s discussion.
The whole team got together to try and figure out why it’s so enduring. This is what we determined:
It Can Be Anyone’s Game
While most of us thought that year after year it would simply be Valentino Rossi’s consistent win—no matter what bike he rode in. The thing is, that’s not really what happened. Through the years, there have been different riders to blow us away with their performances. It always seems to be anyone’s game and that’s what makes it truly enduring and fascinating.
Evolved Machine Mastery
If there is anything that we can all be in agreement with is the fact that the motorcycles that we see debut year after year are a success for humanity. They are a culmination of the effort, study, trial and error, and the machinations of human ingenuity. Every roar that we hear from the engines is a monument to how far we have come in what we have all accomplished together.
It’s a Thrill to Watch
The truly interesting thing about live sports is the fact that you can get swept up in the energy, the tension, and the emotion that is present in the live track and even if you are simply watching the sport from the safety and comfort of your home. Sport has always had a thrilling and utterly galvanizing way of inspiring and keeping people’s thoughts and attention arrested.
These are just some of the reasons why we firmly believe that MotoGP is here to stay and why it will continue to be enduring in the years to come. Why do you think it endures as well as it does?
